Why we love the Swift ?

The Swift was launched in Indian car markets in 2005 prior to being a huge success across the globe in countries like China and Hungary. It was no different in India; the Swift dominated the sales in the automobile industry and was another feather in Maruti’s hat of success. The Swift is one of the most iconic cars in Maruti’s stable and no car in its segment can challenge it.

In August 2011’ the much awaited all new Maruti Swift was launched, which took the Swift brand name to a whole new level as it was loaded with features that no car in its class possesses. The booking went off the hook and people couldn’t wait to get a glimpse of all the changes and modifications that had been done to it. This shows what a cult stature the Swift has acquired. Some of the features include:

  • The already dynamic design has been further improved as seen with the extended headlights and stylish vertical tail lamps.
  • All petrol variants have Maruti Suzuki’s patented all aluminum k-series engines which along with reducing the overall weight of the car also makes for higher spark plug life and longer oil, change intervals and petrol variants have VVT (variable valve technology) technology in their engines which boosts their overall efficiency.
  • The diesel variants are given life by Maruti Suzuki’s DDiS engine which won the international engine of the year award in Europe in 2006.
  • The ABS braking system also incorporates a motor speed regulation system for superior braking in high speed situations.
  • The new Swift has a highly insulated passenger cabin for reduction of NVH (noise, vibrations and harshness)
  • The new T- shaped dashboard with waterfall centre console adds to the spunk and attitude of the car.
  • The all-new cockpit style interiors enhances the overall in-cabin experience. It adds to the spunk and sportiness of the Swift.
  • The D.S.P (Digital Signal Processing) feature understands the speed at which you’re driving and based on that increases or reduces the volume of the music playing.
  • RBSS (Rally Based Suspension System) makes for strengthened suspension, which means you wont feel any one of the several bumps on the road.

This shows you how much more the New Swift has to offer. Maruti has dug deep yet again and surprised us by perfecting something which we all already saw as perfect. It truly fits the caption The New Swift, More Swift.

  3. I am a very big fan of maruti cars. I am not able to wait for new swift and at the same time my mind does not permit for going for a second hand swift or other brand. The strike has hampered my dream of seeing the car during the current diwali. I strongly believe that the Company and the workers now have a very tough time to preserve the customers and I also hope no such strikes to occur in future. If the waiting period is too long, it is difficult for the company to keep the bookings.

And also Swift workers needs to be understand the demand of new SWIFT and aim to increase the Production........
I hope soon the waiting period come down from 8 months to 2 months .........
